From Salcombe
to Mayfair

Following the success of the Running Horse I worked alongside James and Dom from Jacobs Chase on their latest venture - Crab. Both crab lovers and inspired by their childhood trips to Salcombe, they wanted to create a pop-up restaurant that celebrated British crab without the usual overdose of American shack influences. From Salcombe to Mayfair was born.
We used longitude and latitude naviagtion from both locations to symbolise the link up. The combination of black, white and gold was a nod to its Mayfair location and the dark, stormier conditions of British crabbing. Crab shell textures were created to sit alongside the design. The pop-up was extended this year and was voted in The Telegraph's 'Must Visit 2015'.
